I can confirm that the above named person applied for disability allowance (DA) on 24 May 2019. On 6 September 2019 the claim was sent to a Social Welfare Inspector (SWI) for investigation of their means and circumstance.

On 14 October 2019 the person concerned contacted the SWI. They informed the SWI that they wished to withdraw their application for DA. On 24 October 2019 the person concerned was notified in writing that their DA application was withdrawn.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
