Rent supplement continues its important role in housing families and individuals, with the scheme supporting approximately 18,300 recipients for which the Government has provided €132.4 million for 2019.

Based on the current customer volumes and the spread of recipients across all counties, the forecast full year cost of increasing rent limits by 10% would be approximately €14.1 million.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
