Responsibility for the advancement of proposals for the development of the Cork Events Centre remains, in the first instance, a matter for Cork City Council.  It was agreed in the context of Budget 2020 that responsibility at central government level would transfer to my Department.  Discussions in relation to the transfer process are underway.
