546. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will request that the NTA examine the bus currently operating through Chapelizod, Dublin 10, at peak hours between 7.30 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. on Monday to Friday in view of the fact that current service levels mean buses are full and passing intending passengers at peak hours in the village; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport in Ireland. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) in conjunction with the relevant transport operator and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a response within ten working days.
