585. To ask the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs if her attention and that of Tusla has been drawn to a report and-or to the contents of a report (details supplied) concerning children who were harmed by HSE orthodontic services in the Dublin and mid-Leinster region over a period of time; if she will consult with the Minister for Health and consider issuing an order to the HSE to publish the report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can inform the Deputy that my attention has not been drawn to the report to which she refers or its contents. I am asking Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, to respond directly to the Deputy with regard to the elements of her question that relate to Tusla.

Decisions with regard to the possible release or publication of a commissioned report would be a matter for the body which commissioned the report. In this case, I understand the body in question to be the Health Service Executive (HSE). Any Ministerial direction to the HSE would be a matter for the Minister for Health.
