Working Family Payment (formerly Family Income Supplement) is a weekly tax free payment which provides additional income support to employees on low earnings with children. In order to qualify for WFP, an applicant must have a qualified child and be engaged in full-time paid employment as an employee for not less than 38 hours per fortnight.

Working family payment for the person concerned was awarded on the 29^thAugust 2019. This decision was appealed by the person concerned on the 19^thSeptember 2019.

As part of this appeal, a review was carried out and the Deciding Officer’s decision of the 14^thAugust 2019 still stands. The file has been sent to the Appeals Office for full appeal.
