An exemption for the carriage of munitions of war, pursuant to Article 5 of the Air Navigation (Carriage of Munitons of War, Weapons and Dangerous Goods) Orders, 1973 and 1989, was not sought by the airline in question for the date specified.

An application was made for a technical stop in Shannon Airport where they indicated that there were no Dangerous Goods, Hazardous Materials or Military Cargo onboard.

No searches were carried out on this particular aircraft while at Shannon Airport.
