307. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the basis for an allocation of €20,350 to a partnership (details supplied) in 2018 under the women in sport programme in view of the fact that the median allocation across all partnerships was €4,000; the purpose of the allocation; and the specific projects and location of projects it has been spent on. Sport Ireland, which is funded by my Department, is the statutory body with responsibility for the development of sport, increasing participation at all levels and raising standards, including the allocation of funding across its various programmes. This includes the allocation of funding to Local Sports Partnerships. I have no role in the process.

I have referred the Deputy's question to Sport Ireland for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to inform my office if a reply is not received within 10 days.
