I am considering whether to reaffirm the decision originally agreed with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), the HSE and the Department of Health in 2011 for the disposal of the Newborn Screening Card (NSC) Archive (1984-July 2011).

A decision in relation to this topic is well advanced and I expect this to be finalised in the coming months.
