2034. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if there are dedicated, professionally trained and certified cybersecurity staff to deal with cybersecurity protocols under the remit of her Department; if such specialists are being recruited; if her Department maintains a risk register of security breaches; if so, if there are staff that analyse, log and maintain such a register; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department’s ICT unit has dedicated, professionally trained ICT security staff who are responsible for the management and oversight of ICT security systems which mitigate the risks of cybersecurity breaches. The Department maintains a security breach register where any breaches are analysed by the ICT security team and also escalated to supporting ICT security vendors where required.
