A number of indicative key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets have already been set for adults in the National Sports Policy 2018-2027. These have not yet been set for children and young people. As indicated in the policy, these will be set following publication later this month of the 2018 Children's Sport Participation and Physical Activity (CSPPA) Study.
A comprehensive and final set of KPIs and targets covering all elements of the policy will be considered by the Sports Leadership Group in the context of the development, by the end of this year, of an Action Plan for the period to end 2022.
