1568. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the income the Road Safety Authority, RSA, derives from driver tests annually; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [35155/19]

Information on driver testing income is included in the Annual Reports of the Road Safety Authority which can be read at I would remind the Deputy that the driving test is not a profit-driven operation and that the cost of the test is not particularly high when measured against the cost of providing the service.
