To ask the Minister for Health the number of positions in the health service by region and type of position in cases in which an applicant received an offer of a post but was subsequently informed by the HSE that the position is on hold due to budgetary restraints and continues to require the approval from the National Director; the quarter in each case during which the offer of a position was initially made; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
