To ask the Minister for Health the reason pre-registration nurses who trained at considerable expense to the State in Galway University Hospital are not automatically being offered positions in the hospital or in the Saolta group in view of the shortage of nurses in the system and the number being hired on contract at this time; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
