963. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the different income streams directly paid by persons to her Department or agencies under her remit, such as motor tax; the number of persons making annual payments; the value of same; the number of payments made through staged or increment payments; the value of same; the additional income generated as a result of payments being made on an incremental basis; if incremental payments are not available, the reason for same; the corresponding figures for 1999 and 2009; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy will appreciate, and my Department and those bodies under its aegis are responsible for a broad range of activities. While some of these activities may be subject to charge none would constitute an income stream of the type instanced by the Deputy.
Details of income and expenditure by my Department and those bodies under its aegis are set out in the Annual Report and Accounts published each year which are subject to audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General.
