Capital Expenditure Programme
808. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of capital projects being undertaken by his Department; the final agreed tender price; the estimated cost of each capital project in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31082/19]
809. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the capital projects completed since 2010; the final agreed tender price for each project; the actual cost of each project; if the actual cost exceeded the tender price; the reason therefor in each case in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [31098/19]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 808 and 809 together.
Project Ireland 2040 provides indicative allocations over the next ten years for a range of public transport related projects and programmes.
As noted in Project Ireland 2040 individual projects and programmes remain subject to compliance with the Public Spending Code, including its requirements in relation to appraisal and Sanctioning Authority approval points.
