The person concerned made an application for rent supplement in September 2018.  The Community Welfare Officer requested documentation to support their application; as the documentation requested was not provided, and the application for rent supplement was disallowed.

The person concerned was informed of this decision in October 2018.

My Department has not received an enquiry or application for an exceptional needs payment in relation to rent arrears or a rent supplement from the person concerned . An exceptional needs application form has been sent to the customer on 3^rdJuly 2019 and a decision will be made once the application has been received.  

I trust that this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
