To ask the Taoiseach and Minister for Defence further to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 69 to 71, inclusive, of 29 May 2019 and Question No. 84 of 19 June 2019, the list of athletes that will be sent to participate in the seventh CISM World Games in Wuhan, China in October 2019; if triathletes will be included; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that the Defence Forces will participate in the 7thCISM World Games in Wuhan, China and that the number of athletes being sent CISM World Games is thirty two. These thirty-two athletes make up four teams that will participate in the following disciplines, Soccer, Boxing, Shooting and Lifesaving. There will be no triathletes travelling to these CISM World Games.
