To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the amount of land purchased and leased by size and amount expended in the past five years to date; the location of same; the term of the lease and amount expended per year in cases in which land is leased; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Office of Public Works (OPW), which comes under the remit of the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, is responsible for the purchase and leasing of land for Government Departments, including the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, and accordingly details of any such purchase or lease is a matter for the OPW.
