To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if a comprehensive reply will issue to all of the matters raised by a person (details supplied); his views on the detailed allegations made of criminal and inappropriate activities within the Irish Prison Service; the action taken to investigate the allegations; if a person or persons have been held responsible for such activity; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can inform the Deputy that a response has issued to the person concerned. There are independent investigations and other processes underway in relation to the allegations raised and the person's concerns are being treated as a protected disclosure. The outcome of these processes is awaited.
