I am advised that the Hazelhatch area of Celbridge, County Kildare was assessed as part of the Eastern Catchment Flood Risk Assessment and Management Study. The Flood Risk Management Plans identified the need for a further study of the area to help identify any feasible option to manage the existing flood risk. This further study is being commissioned by Kildare County Council.
I am further advised that the Council are currently finalising their contract documents with a view to issuing tenders and are aiming to complete the study of flood risk in the Hazelhatch area in 2019.
