261. To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform his plans to formally abolish the Civil Service Accountability Board; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13623/19]

There are no current plans to discontinue the Civil Service Accountability Board. The terms of reference of the Board are published on the website of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform at . Work is underway on a new Civil Service Renewal plan that will include the areas that fall under the terms of reference of the Accountability Board.

The Civil Service Accountability Board has met four times to date in Q2 and Q3 2015 and Q2 and Q4 2016. The minutes of the Board’s meetings and the 2016 Annual Report of the Board is available on the website of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform at .
