398. To ask the Minister for Health the reason for delaying minimum unit pricing pending further clarity on Brexit in view of the fact that statistics show the level of cross-Border trade has not increased between 2017 and 2018; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12030/19]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 397 and 398 together.

It remains my intention to seek a revised Government Decision to implement Minimum Unit Pricing after the existing date for the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union has passed and there will be more certainty about the outcome of that process.
