175. To ask the Minister for Health if his Department or the HSE administer grant funding to families that need significant upgrades to their homes to accommodate children with profound physical disabilities that would not pass a means test; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Policy, including in relation to means testing, for Housing Adaption Grants for People with a Disability is the responsibility of my colleague the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government. Families of children requiring adaptions may also wish to contact their Local Health Office to determine the full range of supports and services available from the HSE.
