As I explained to the Deputy in response to Question 9239/19 of the 26 February 2019, my Department is responsible for the legislative basis for the Disabled Parking Scheme but not for its day-to-day management.  Operational or pricing matters such as this one fall under the remit of the issuing bodies, the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) and the Disabled Drivers Association of Ireland (DDAI).
