The amount of EU funds received or channelled through my Department in 2017 is outlined in the following table -

Connecting Europe Facility Fund (CEF)€500,000The CEF assists Member States with their national implementation of the Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information. DEASP and the HSE are in partnership on this implementation.
European Globalisation Fund (EGF) – Lufthansa Technik Airmotive€265,975The EGF provides one-off time limited individual support to people across Ireland in certain companies and sectors that were made redundant as a result of globalisation.
European Employment Services (EURES) – Ireland/Northern Ireland Cross Border partnership€249,030EURES facilitates the free movement of workers which is organised centrally by the European Commission and is administered in the member states by the Public Employment Service.
