To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the reason landowners who farm or live along the bank of the River Shannon are being offered the opportunity to purchase land that they already live or farm on such as in a case (details supplied); the appeals mechanism for disputing maps; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
