444. To ask the Minister for Health if the planned primary healthcare centre (details supplied) in County Wicklow and its services or facilities are at risk of delay or cancellation due to the cost overruns on the new national children's hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It is intended that the new Primary Care Centre in Arklow will be delivered by means of operational lease, rather than funded directly as part of the HSE Capital Plan. Therefore it is not expected to be impacted by any funding requirements arising for the new children's hospital.
As the HSE has responsibility for the provision of Primary Care Centres, I have asked the Executive to reply directly to the Deputy with an update on the status of this project for his information.
