315. To ask the Minister for Health if the €9 million for a replacement 50 bed unit at the Sacred Heart Hospital, County Roscommon, has been ring-fenced; if the design team has been approved; if the project is still included in the HSE capital plan 2017 to 2021; the status of the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Following the publication of the Health Service Executive's National Service Plan for 2019, the Health Service Executive is currently developing its Capital Plan for 2019. The HSE Capital Plan for 2019 will determine the projects that can progress in 2019 having regard to the available capital funding, the number of large national capital projects currently underway and the relevant priority of each project.

As the Health Service Executive is responsible for the delivery of healthcare infrastructure projects, I have asked the HSE to respond to you directly in relation to the appointment of a design team to this capital project at the Sacred Heart Hospital Roscommon.
