To ask the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if a review will be instigated of policy on building new fossil fuel infrastructure, such as, a facility (details supplied) in the context of climate change; if a debate in Dáil Éireann will be facilitated on whether Ireland should allow fracked shale gas in the energy mix; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to the reply to Question Nos. 534 and 549 of 20 November 2018, the position is unchanged. In relation to a Dáil debate on the matter raised in the Question, this is a matter for the House to decide when ordering its business.
