Illness Benefit Payments

576. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a regular payment of illness benefit will issue to a person (details supplied). [47064/18]

The Illness Benefit claim for the person concerned is certified and paid up to 15th November 2018.

If the customer remains ill and unfit for work, a further medical certificate should be submitted to the Department as soon as possible in order for further payments to issue.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.

If the customer remains ill and unfit for work, a further medical certificate should be submitted to the Department as soon as possible in order for further payments to issue.
