Illness Benefit Payments

552. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a person (details supplied) in County Donegal will receive regular illness benefit payments; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [46590/18]

The Occupational Injury claim for the person concerned is both certified and paid up to 14th November 2018.

If he remains ill and unfit for work, he should submit a further medical certificate to the Department as soon as possible to enable further payments to be made.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
