1075. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection to set out the number of persons in receipt of illness benefit by county. [45169/18]

In any one week, circa 50,000 people are entitled to an Illness Benefit payment. Last week, payments were made to circa 54,000 people as some 4,000 people were due arrears payments.
