The Illness Benefit claim for the person concerned is certified and paid up to 8th November 2018.

If the person concerned remains ill and unfit for work, he should submit a further medical certificate to the Department as soon as possible to enable further payments to be made.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.

The payment issue for the person concerned is now resolved and she is paid to date. She is currently certified to 6th November 2018.

If she remains ill and unfit for work, she should forward a further medical certificate to the Department as soon as possible.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
