619. To ask the Minister for Health if a person can have a pyroluria test carried out under the medical card GMS scheme in view of the fact that persons are reporting that it costs circa €400 for the test. [45184/18]

The HSE has advised me that as pyroluria testing has not been shown to be clinically effective this service would not be covered under the GMS scheme.
