To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if his attention has been drawn to statutory declarations on the back of summonses being stamped by An Garda Síochána in the place of a peace commissioner in circumstances in which summonses have been sent by registered post; the statutory basis for this activity; his views on whether it is fatally undermining both prosecutions and citizens rights; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
