To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality the number of persons supervised in the community under a post-release supervision order under Part 5 of the Sex Offenders Act 2001; the number of persons in breach of conditions under this Part; the number of cases pending; the number of convictions; the regional breakdown of these figures; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are 121 persons being supervised by the Probation Service under the conditions of a Post Release Supervision Order as provided for in Part 5 of the Sex Offenders Act 2001 at the end of June 2018. A regional breakdown of this number is illustrated in following table.
