To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if funding will be provided for Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to carry out the repairs necessary to Dún Laoghaire harbour to bring it up to taking in charge standard as outlined by the recent due diligence and risk management reports received by the council; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The National Ports Policy 2013 recommends that designated Ports of Regional Significance which are currently State-owned should be transferred to more appropriate local authority led governance structures.  This policy, and associated issues arising, including any issues in relation to funding, are a matter for my colleague, the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport.
