To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 141 of 24 April 2018, if there has been progress in relation to an application under the minor flood mitigation works and coastal protection scheme; the studies being undertaken in relation to flooding in the Hazelhatch area of Celbridge, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been advised that the Office of Public Works has not received an application from Kildare County Council under the Minor Flood Mitigation Works and Coastal Protection scheme for the area mentioned in the Deputy’s question.
