265. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the number of freedom of information, FOI, requests her Department has received since January 2018; the number that were appealed, refused and granted, respectively; the costs that were applied; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The information requested by the Deputy in respect of Freedom of Information requests received by the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht to date in 2018 is set out in the following table.

Of the 125 requests received to date, there has been one request appealed to internal review and to the Office of the Information Commissioner.

With regard to costs applied, a total of €295 has been collected in respect of search and retrieval fees with a further charge of €30 applied in respect of the above mentioned internal review.
