To ask the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs the procedure in respect of an adopted person who wishes to trace personal information such as their birth certificate and file in respect of their adoption; the number of such information requests Tusla has received in the past five years; the number that have been responded to with comprehensive information including file information on the person; the number on hold pending further information; the number of requests in which information required in respect of a person has been made subject to an application to the adoption contact register; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
