To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform when proposed works (details supplied) will be carried out; if the contractor has been contacted and asked to give a date for the proposed works to be done; and, if contact has not been made with the contractor, whether contact will be made with them with immediate effect. I can confirm that the Office of Public Works (OPW) has appointed a contractor to carry out the maintenance works referred to by the deputy. These works are scheduled to be completed this week.
