To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if he has discussed the percentage of new build and regenerated social housing that will be allocated to those experiencing homelessness in each local authority; the percentage of new build that went to those experiencing homelessness in each local authority in 2017; the percentage that will go to those experiencing homelessness in 2018; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not hold information on the allocation of social housing supports to different categories of households on local authority waiting lists. The allocation of such support is a matter for each local authority in accordance with its allocation scheme made under Section 22 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 and associated regulations.
