To ask the Minister for Health the number of women who have had a transvaginal mesh implanted; the number who have suffered complications in connection with this mesh; the number who have had the transvaginal mesh removed both here and in another jurisdiction under the treatment abroad scheme; the number who are waiting to have the mesh removed in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. To ask the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 289 of 8 May 2018, the number of women who have had the transvaginal mesh removed here; the number of hospitals that have provided this procedure; the number of surgeons here who carry out the removal of transvaginal mesh in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
