252. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills when a decision on an application by school (details supplied) for five classrooms will be decided upon; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that if a decision, either positive or negative is not forthcoming from his Department, then this school will have to begin implementing student caps from 2019 onwards; if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that a phased development plan for this application would be possible; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that my Department is in receipt of an application from the school referred to for additional accommodation. The application is currently under consideration and my Department will be in direct contact with the school authorities when the assessment process has concluded.
