143. To ask the Minister for Health the steps he will take to roll out the award winning Sligo cataract scheme across the country with optometrists and hospital eye departments working together, which would significantly reduce the waiting time of 18 months which many persons with cataracts have to endure between being referred and having the surgery to restore their sight; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
