273. My Department is making continuing efforts to assist the State Claims Agency in tracing information related to claims for ex-gratia payments. The material sought is historical in nature and relates to a period which predates electronic records. There has been difficulty to date in establishing the existence of and identifying the records which are being sought. However, efforts to trace these particular records will be prioritised in the coming weeks.
