242. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if training has been delivered in her Department on the use of social media; the frequency and cost of this training; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [18197/18]

I am advised that, during the period 2012 to 2017, my Department spent €6,383 on social media training for staff. A breakdown of the year provided, training course, number of staff who attended and cost is provided in the following table.
