The Department of Culture, Heritage, and the Gaeltacht undertook a public consultation on the legal deposit of published digital material in 2017.  In response, the Department received 42 submissions to the consultation from the library and archives community, publishers and members of the public.

The consultation document along with the submissions received are published on my Department's website at this link

The Department of Culture, Heritage and Gaeltacht is continuing to liaise with the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation on this matter which relates primarily to copyright legislation.
