1517. To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if planning permission for a strategic infrastructure development will be amended by An Bord Pleanála while the planning permission in question is the subject of an enforcement notice; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There is no provision in the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, prohibiting the making of a request to alter the terms of a planning permission, approval or other consent granted under the Act in respect of a strategic infrastructure development which is the subject of an enforcement notice served by a planning authority.  Neither is there a provision in the 2000 Act empowering or requiring An Bord Pleanála to refuse to consider, or to defer consideration of, a request made in such circumstances.
